Intel Discontinues Crimson Canyon

AnandTech reports Intel will discontinue their 10nm CPU-based NUC. I can’t say I’m surprised by this. Crimson Canyon was a mixed bag: AMD graphics and a 10nm CPU, but hobbled by a maximum of 8GB of RAM, higher power requirements, and more fan noise. An interesting experiment that turned out to be short-lived.
